Over the last 18 years Andrew has developed a unique portfolio of skills and experience, combining investment banking expertise with technical and soft skills training.
In parallel to his technical experience, Andrew re-trained in soft skills in 2009-10. The result means his clients benefit from an almost unique professional development experience combining rigorous technical content and applied market experience, with a deep understanding of client interaction and motivators.
Andrew started at the newly merged Deutsche Bank and Morgan Grenfell Group as one of the first round of International Graduate Management Trainees. He has both sold equities in the Institutional market for DB London, and later traded equity derivatives as head of DB’s proprietary desk at Deutsche Bank’s head office in Frankfurt. Andrew moved back to London for Cazenove before a change of direction led him to graduate from Webber Douglas drama school and into a career as an actor on TV, stage and film. Andrew combined his market knowledge with his unique interpersonal skills to become a highly respected and sought after training consultant, previously with ENB Consulting (latterly Moody’s Analytics) and ZISHI (formerly BG Consulting).
Andrew’s methodology is around behavioural change that delivers outcomes, and he has trained everyone from graduates through to middle office, front office, director level, corporate bankers, commercial bankers, capital markets teams, insurance professionals, ratings companies and corporate finance houses. He has worked in USA, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Dubai, Kuwait, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Australia, India, Kenya, South Africa and more.
He has a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from Manchester University and is an accredited coach for Lumina Spark.
He is an off-piste ski guide and Group Level RFU rugby referee, having officiated in Twickenham and the International 7s in Dubai.
